Camden CM-25/26CB Series Narrow Push Plate Switch, Handicap Symbol/Push To Open

CM-25, CM-26CB, CM-35 and CM-35N Series all-active switches are heavy-duty, ADA-compliant door controls. CM-25 (1-5/8" x 4-1/2") and CM-26CB/CM-35 series (2" x 4-1/2") rectangular faceplates are stainless steel, aluminum or solid brass. The CM-25 is designed to mount directly on a metal door frame or narrow surface box. The CM-35 and CM-35N Series meets new OBC requirements for activation plate size and is designed for mounting on a single gang box.

Note: CM-35 and CM-25 Series push plate switches are not available with optional DPDT contact.

No. The CM-35 and CM-35N Series is the one that meets the newer OBC requirement for activation plate size, on a 2 by 4-1/2 inch plate mounted to a single gang box. The CM-25 is the narrow 1-5/8 by 4-1/2 inch plate intended for frame or narrow surface box mounting.
4) Can a Camden CM-26CB push plate be installed outdoors or in an unheated area?
The operating temperature range runs from -40 F to 140 F (-40 C to +60 C), so exterior vestibules, parking garages and unheated loading areas are within spec. Contact rating is 3 A at 30 VDC on a momentary normally open contact.
5) Does the Camden narrow push plate come with the wheelchair symbol and Push to Open text?
Two graphics are offered: the wheelchair symbol alone, or the active wheelchair symbol paired with Push to Open text. Both are available in blue or in an architectural finish, so you pick graphic and finish when you order.
