Camden CM-2520 Series Double Gang Vestibule Push Plate Switch, 'WHEELCHAIR' SYMBOL & 'PUSH TO OPEN' AND 'PUSH TO LOCK'

The push plate side is a normally open SPST momentary contact rated 3 A at 30 VDC, which is the dry contact input most low voltage automatic operators expect. The integrated key switch is a separate normally open SPST maintained contact rated 6 A at 30 VDC. Both are dry contacts, so run them to the operator's activation and lock inputs rather than switching line voltage through them.

Two graphic choices: the 'ACTIVE WHEELCHAIR' symbol with 'Push to Open' text, or the 'WHEELCHAIR' symbol with both 'PUSH TO OPEN' and 'PUSH TO LOCK'. Pick the second when the plate also carries the key switch for locking the vestibule; the first is for straight operator activation.

That half is the key switch, wired as a maintained normally open contact. Maintained means it stays in the state you leave it in, so it is used to take the opening out of automatic service or engage a lock, unlike the push plate itself which is momentary and only signals while pressed. It carries 6 A at 30 VDC.

Operating range is -40F to 140F (-40C to +60C), so it holds up in unheated vestibules and exterior entry walls in cold climates. It is a hardwired device with no wireless communication, so a cable run to the operator is required.

Standard finish is US32 / C32D, brushed stainless. That matches the stainless pulls and push plates typically already on a commercial vestibule entry, so it blends with existing door hardware on the same opening.

It is a commercial electronic access control device, built for vestibule and automatic door operator activation in commercial entries. Between the momentary push plate and the maintained key switch on one double gang plate, it handles both public activation and staff lockout at the same location.
