Camden CV-110SPK is a slim-line single door multifunction standalone keypad that supports up to 2000 users with a Card, 4 digit PIN, or a Card + PIN option. Yes. The CV-110SPK is fully potted and IP68 rated, so rain and washdown are not an issue, and it runs from -49F to 140F (-45C to 60C). The housing is electroplated zinc alloy anti-vandal construction with a built-in light dependent resistor for tamper detection, which is what you want on an unattended exterior entry.
2) Will the Camden CV-110SPK work as a standalone door controller, or does it need a separate access control panel?
It does both. On its own it is a single door standalone controller with one Form C relay rated 3A at 30VDC to drive your lock, holding up to 2,000 users by card, 4 digit PIN, or card plus PIN. It also puts out Wiegand (8 bit burst for PIN codes, 26 bit for cards), so if you later add a panel the same unit becomes a dual credential reader on it.
3) What cards work with the Camden CV-110SPK proximity reader?
The built-in reader is 125KHz EM format only. EM cards and tags will read; it does not read other prox formats, so if your building is already carded on something else those credentials won't work here. Capacity is 2,000 users across cards or tags.
