2) What voltage does the Camden SureWave CM-324 touchless switch run on, and how much current does it draw?
The CM-324 accepts 12VAC/DC, 24VDC or 24VAC, so it runs off the same low voltage supply feeding most maglocks, electric strikes and operators. Draw is 40 mA, low enough to tap an existing access control power supply or operator's accessory output without adding a separate transformer.

The short delay suits releasing a lock; a door operator that needs a longer hold-open should be timed at the operator, not here.
6) What is the difference between the Event and Toggle modes on the CM-324?
Event mode gives a momentary output: one wave releases the door for the set time delay, then the relay drops back. Toggle mode latches, so one wave energizes the relay and the next wave returns it. Event is what you want for a normal push-to-exit or operator actuation. Toggle is how you get a true 'wave to lock' or 'wave to unlock and hold' function, which is why the 43 faceplate text pairs with it.
7) Will this touchless switch work reliably in a bright lobby or in direct sunlight?
