The Carlon UA5 series 22.5-degree extended-radius elbow runs from 1 inch up to 6 inch trade size, with radius lengths of 18, 24, 30, 36, 48, 60 and 150 inches. Not every size pairs with every radius. The 18 inch radius is offered in 2 inch (UA5CJ) and 2-1/2 inch (UA5CK). The 24 inch radius covers 2, 3, 3-1/2, 4 and 5 inch. The 36 inch radius is the broadest: 1, 1-1/2, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 inch. The UA5 elbow is Schedule 40 PVC to the same dimensional standard as any other gray rigid nonmetallic conduit of that trade size, so it solvent welds to Schedule 40 conduit regardless of whose name is on the pipe. Use PVC conduit cement, not plumbing pipe cement. One caution on size: a Schedule 40 elbow socket takes Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 conduit of the same trade size, since the outside diameters match, but it will not accept EB or DB duct, which is a different wall and a different fitting family.
