1) Will the Columbia CNW4-LSCS narrow wrap work on 277V in my building, or do I need to order a separate 120V version?
One fixture covers both. The CNW4-LSCS runs on universal 120-277V input, so the same part number goes into a 120V residential-style panel or a 277V commercial lighting circuit. That means a property manager or electrical contractor can stock one SKU for a mixed-voltage portfolio instead of splitting the order by service voltage.
2) Can I set the color temperature on the Columbia CNW 4-foot wrap in the field, or is it fixed at the factory?
Field-selectable. A switch on the CNW lets the installer pick 3000K, 4000K or 5000K at the time of install, so one fixture on the truck covers a warm corridor, a neutral office and a cooler back-of-house area. For an MRO buyer standardizing a facility, that removes the color-temperature decision from the purchase order and puts it at the ceiling.
3) Does the Columbia CNW LED wrap dim, and what control do I need to wire to it?
It uses a 0-10V dimming driver, so it needs a 0-10V control with a pair of low-voltage control conductors pulled to the fixture alongside the line voltage. A standard forward-phase or reverse-phase wall dimmer will not control it. Per the fixture data, output goes down to 10 percent.
4) Is the Columbia CNW wrap rated for a bathroom, covered walkway or parking garage?
Damp location rated, so it can go in a bathroom, a covered exterior walkway, or similar spots where moisture is in the air but the fixture is not exposed to direct water. It is not a wet location fixture, so skip it anywhere it would take direct spray or rain. It is built to UL 1598 standards and labeled ETL.
5) Can I use one Columbia CNW part number for both an office and a storage room without over-lighting the storage room?
Yes, that is the point of the LSCS designation. The CNW4-LSCS carries Switchable Lumen and Switchable CCT, so the installer sets both the output and the color at the fixture. 6) Do I have to order occupancy sensors separately for the Columbia CNW, or are they built in?

The CNW is a 4-foot narrow-profile surface fixture with a frosted acrylic lens and decorative end caps, meant for corridors, stairwells, back-of-house and light commercial spaces where a wide-body wraparound would look bulky. Where a single fixture has to cover a wide open room, a full-width wrap or a troffer puts more lumens across the space. The CNW also handles wall mounting, which a lot of wide wraps do not.
8) Can I mount the Columbia CNW wrap on a wall, not just the ceiling?
Wall mounting is supported, along with surface ceiling mounting. Electrical access is from the middle exterior of the housing, which is what makes it work over a wall box in a stairwell or a utility room as readily as it does on a ceiling. It ships fully assembled.
9) What is the Columbia CNW wrap housing made of, and will the lens yellow over time?
Steel housing with polycarbonate end caps, and the lens is acrylic, which resists UV aging better than the older plastics that go yellow in a few years. The frosted acrylic diffuses the LEDs so you are not looking at hot spots down a corridor. Steel is a practical choice for multi-family and institutional corridors where a fixture takes the occasional knock.
10) Is the light from the Columbia CNW good enough for color rendering in a retail or healthcare space?
80+ CRI, which is the standard commercial threshold and is fine for corridors, offices, back-of-house and general retail. For a space where color judgment is part of the work, such as a paint counter, a fabric showroom or a clinical exam room, a 90+ CRI fixture is the better call.
