1) Will the Compass CU2 emergency light work on a 277V circuit, or do I need a separate 120V model?
One model covers both. The CU2 compact LED emergency light is dual voltage, 120/277V AC, so the same unit goes on a 120V branch circuit in an office corridor or a 277V circuit in a commercial stairwell without ordering a different part number. That is what makes it practical to standardize a whole building on one unit.
2) What is the difference between the Standard, Remote Capacity, and Self Test versions of the Compass CU2?
Three builds, and the choice is made at order time. Standard is the plain unit with two adjustable heads. Remote Capacity adds a battery large enough to also power remote heads, so you can feed a windowless closet or a stair landing off the same unit. Self Test adds self-diagnostics that monitor battery and charger failure, battery disconnect, and lamp failure, which is what you want when the unit is above a high ceiling and nobody wants to push a test button monthly.
