OATEY P9701BG Dearborn® 1-1/4" P-Trap, Bagged

The Dearborn P9701BG is a 1-1/4 inch tubular P-trap, so it mates to 1-1/4 inch lavatory tailpiece and 1-1/4 inch trap arm. It uses ground joint connections, the slip joint style tubular drainage connection that seals with a washer and nut rather than solvent weld or thread sealant. If the fixture tailpiece is 1-1/2 inch, as most kitchen sinks are, this is the wrong size trap.

The P9701BG carries an IAPMO listing and meets ASTM F 409, the standard for thermoplastic tubular drain fittings. That is the pair of credentials a plumbing inspector on a lavatory rough-in is looking for on a plastic trap, and it is what lets it go into permitted work in most jurisdictions.

Polypropylene, in white.
