Deltana CHB Cabinet Hinge Finial, Button Tip, Solid Brass

The CHB button tip finial is made to thread onto Deltana cabinet hinges, and the thread is 5 x 0.8mm. If your hinges are another brand, match that thread before ordering, because the finial screws into the hinge pin rather than pressing on.

Priced and sold each. A cabinet hinge takes two tips, one at each end of the pin, so count two finials per hinge when you order. For a kitchen refit that adds up fast, so total your hinges first and double it.

That is exactly what the Deltana CHB is for. The finial threads onto the hinge pin, so swapping tips changes the decorative end of a Deltana cabinet hinge while the hinge, the mortise, and the screw holes stay put. No re-boring, no new prep, and the door stays hung. It only works on hinges built to take a threaded tip with a 5 x 0.8mm thread.

Small by design: 1/8 inch high and 5/16 inch in diameter. That is a low, rounded button that sits nearly flush on top of the hinge barrel, so it reads as a finished cap rather than a decorative ball or urn tip. If you want a tip with visible height above the hinge, this is not the profile.

Residential is what the CHB is specified for. It is a decorative cabinet hinge tip, so for high-traffic commercial casework or institutional millwork you are usually better served by plain hospital-tip or flat-tip cabinet hinges with no removable ornament to loosen or go missing.
