A parliament hinge is a projection hinge. The wide leaf spread throws the door clear of the frame and any deep trim or reveal, so the door can swing back flat against the adjacent wall instead of stopping short on a casing. No. The DSPA4080 is a residential-duty hinge with a plain bearing, not a ball bearing knuckle. Plain bearing hinges are meant for lighter doors and moderate cycle counts. 3) Does the DSPA4080 hinge have a non-removable pin for an outswing exterior door?

On an outswing door where the hinge barrel is exposed outside, that's a security gap worth closing with an NRP-equipped hinge or hinge pin studs. On an inswing door the pin is on the protected side and it isn't an issue.
