Three numbers have to line up. The 2 CW is cut for a 2-1/8 inch cross bore, a 2-3/8 inch backset, and a 1-3/4 inch thick door. Measure from the door edge to the center of the knob or lever hole: if that comes out at 2-3/8 inches and the bore is the standard 2-1/8 inches, the plate goes on over the existing prep with no drilling of the face. The plate itself is 4 inches wide by 9 inches tall, so it covers the bore area and wraps the door edge, and the latch prep indent gives the latch face somewhere to sit.
2) Does the Don-Jo 2 CW wrap around work with a mortise lock or a deadbolt?
