No. The Don-Jo 7 CW wrap around is made for 1-3/8 inch doors only. The wrap is formed to that thickness, so on a standard 1-3/4 inch commercial door it will not close around the stile correctly. For a 1-3/4 inch door you need the Don-Jo wrap around sized for that thickness instead.
2) Is the Don-Jo 7 wrap around for a deadbolt or a knob or lever lock?
Deadbolt. The 1-1/2 inch cross bore matches a standard deadbolt cylinder, not the 2-1/8 inch bore a knob or lever set uses. If you are covering damage around a cylindrical knob or lever, this is the wrong wrap; you want one bored 2-1/8 inches. The 7 CW does include a latch prep indent, so it clears the bolt case where the plate wraps the edge.
3) How much of the door will the Don-Jo 7 plate actually cover around a damaged deadbolt hole?
The plate face is 4-1/4 by 4-1/2 inches, centered on a bolt hole set 2-3/4 inches from the door edge. That gives you roughly an inch and a half of coverage past the hole on the stop side and full coverage from the edge outward. Splits, kick damage, or an old strike-side gouge outside that footprint will still show, so hold a tape over the damage before you order.
4) Is 22 gauge steel heavy enough for a wrap around on an apartment or office door?
22 gauge (.032) steel is what the 7 CW uses, and it is a trim and repair plate, not a security reinforcer. It covers and finishes a chewed-up deadbolt bore and stiffens the face, which is what most turnover and repair work needs. If the door was kicked in and you are trying to stop it happening again, a wrap around at this gauge is not the fix; that calls for a door edge reinforcer or a strike box on the frame side.
5) What finishes does the Don-Jo 7 wrap around come in, and will they match my existing hardware?
Five: 10B oil rubbed bronze (613), AB antique brass (609), BZ satin bronze (612), PB polished brass (605), and S satin stainless (630). For a building standardized on 626 satin chrome levers, the 630 satin stainless is the closest visual match on a plate; a bright brass building takes the PB. Order the same finish across every door you are wrapping so the openings read as a set.
6) Can I install a Don-Jo wrap around plate without pulling the deadbolt off the door?
No. The plate wraps the edge of the door and the bolt hole passes through it, so the cylinder and bolt have to come out, the wrap goes on, and the deadbolt reinstalls through it. Budget for slightly longer mounting screws on the lock, since the 22 gauge steel adds .032 inch of material under the cylinder on each face.
