Basic installation requires drill, hole saws, screwdrivers, and measuring tools. Door may need modification for trim mounting. Follow manufacturer template exactly for proper fit and function.
8) How do I maintain the electronic components?
Keep keypad clean and dry. Replace batteries when low battery indicator activates. Test codes monthly. Lubricate mechanical components per manufacturer schedule. Protect from extreme weather if exterior mounted.
