1) Does the Dormakaba E-Plex 5000 Model 5067 pushbutton lock need batteries or wiring?
No power at all. The 5067 is a fully mechanical pushbutton lock, so there is no battery to replace and no wiring to pull. Access is by a single combination code that all users share, and the code is programmed right through the keypad without taking the lock off the door.
2) Is a cylinder included with the Dormakaba 5067 key override?
No, the core is not supplied. The 5067 accepts LFIC key override in Medeco, ASSA, Yale, or Abloy in 5 or 6 pin lengths, and you order that core separately. If you go the XS key override route instead, it comes Schlage C keyway as standard. Plan on sourcing the cylinder to match whatever keying system the rest of the building is on.

5) If the door needs to be unlocked remotely by an access control system instead of a code, what exit trim should be used instead of the Dormakaba 5067?
The Dormakaba 5067 is a standalone mechanical pushbutton trim - the code is entered at the door and there is no wiring to a panel. For a card reader or remote release, use an electrified trim: the Command Access ET15, ET25 and ET26 electrified exit trims all run 12V or 24V with fail safe and fail secure options, the ET26 being Grade 1 and field reversible, and the Command Access 230L electrified trim serves Von Duprin V96/36/23 Series devices. Von Duprin's own E360L-BE-03 is a Grade 1 electric passage trim with an 03 lever, fail safe, for 33/35A Series devices, and the Falcon 510L-FSA/FSE is a heavy duty electrified trim for 25 Series devices. These require power and a controller at the opening, which the 5067 does not.
