DynaLock 6010 Series - One Bi-Color LED, Red/Green, 12/24VDC Monitor Panels

Either one. The 6010 monitor panel runs on 12 or 24 VDC, so it drops onto whatever supply is already feeding the maglock or power supply at the opening without a separate transformer or voltage-specific part number.

Count of LEDs. The 6010 gives you one bi-color red/green LED; the 6020 carries red/green bi-color LEDs for two indications. Both run 12 or 24 VDC on a brushed stainless steel switch plate. If you are monitoring a single door or a single condition, the 6010 is the one. If you need to show two separate states side by side on one plate, step up to the 6020.

The 6010 mounts on a brushed stainless steel switch plate, which is the standard way these panels go into a wall box at the door. There is also a narrow faceplate option at 1-3/4 inches wide if the wall or mullion you are mounting into cannot take a full-width plate, and a two-gang faceplate option when the panel is ordered with the audible sounder.

Yes. The 6010 can be ordered with an audible sounder on a two-gang faceplate, operating on 1-28VDC. That is the version to specify when a door held open or a released maglock needs to be heard, not just seen, at the console or the nurse station. The sounder option can be combined with either the standard plate or the narrow 1-3/4 inch faceplate.

The narrow faceplate substitution measures 1-3/4 inches wide. That is the dimension that matters when you are mounting into a storefront mullion or a narrow jamb where a standard switch plate overhangs the metal. Confirm the flat of your mullion is at least that wide and the panel lands clean.

Three things decide the part. First, one LED or two. Second, whether you want the narrow faceplate at 1-3/4 inches wide instead of the standard plate. Third, whether you want the two-gang faceplate with the audible sounder, which runs 1-28VDC. Every combination of those three is orderable, so a two-LED panel with the narrow plate and the sounder is a real configuration, not a special order.

One bi-color LED does both. A single lamp on the 6010 shows red or green depending on the state it is wired to, so you get locked and unlocked (or secure and released) indication from one opening in the plate rather than drilling for two pilot lights.

Brushed stainless steel, US32D. That is the same satin stainless finish used on most commercial push plates, pulls and exit device trim, so a 6010 panel next to the door blends with the rest of the hardware on a typical office or institutional opening rather than standing out.
