2) Does the Eaton DPF AC disconnect take fuses, or is it non-fused?
The DPF pullout is a non-fused disconnect. It breaks the circuit for service isolation but provides no overcurrent protection of its own, so the branch circuit still needs its breaker or fuses upstream. If your condensing unit nameplate calls for maximum fuse size (HACR fuse protection at the disconnect), this is not the right pullout, you need a fused type.
3) What wire size will the Eaton DPF pullout disconnect accept, and can I land aluminum?
