1) Will the Eaton Arrow Hart 1547 connector fit my SJOOW cord, and what cord diameters does it clamp?
The 1547 severe duty connector accepts cords from 0.38 to 1 inch in outside diameter, which covers most 14/3 through 8/3 portable cord builds. Terminations are screw-type, back wired, and the terminals take #14 through #8 AWG conductors. Measure your jacket OD first: anything under 0.38 inch will not clamp properly and anything over 1 inch will not seat in the cord grip.
2) What plug does a NEMA 5-15R connector accept?
NEMA 5-15R is the standard 15A 125V straight blade grounding pattern, so the Eaton Arrow Hart 1547 mates with any NEMA 5-15P plug, the ordinary three-prong 120V cord cap found on tools and equipment. It is two-pole, three-wire grounding, rated 15A at 125V. It will not accept a 20A 5-20P plug with the T-slot blade.
