B-LINE AW7260SP – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size enclosure does the Eaton B-Line AW7260SP mounting panel fit?
The AW7260SP panel is built for 72 x 60 inch enclosures. It is a flanged back panel sized to that cabinet, so it will not drop into a smaller or larger box without rework. The panel itself measures 68.87 x 32.87 inches, which is why two are typically run side by side across the full 60 inch width of a 72 x 60 enclosure.
2) Is the AW7260SP back panel steel or stainless?
Stainless steel. That matters if the enclosure is in a washdown, food processing, coastal, or chemical area where a painted carbon steel panel would rust out behind the components. If the cabinet is indoors and dry, a painted steel panel does the same mounting job.
3) Does the AW7260SP come with mounting hardware or an enclosure?
It is the mounting panel only, an accessory for an enclosure you already have or are ordering separately. Panels of this type mount to the collar studs or brackets inside the enclosure, so confirm your 72 x 60 cabinet is equipped for panel mounting.
4) Is this B-Line panel NEMA rated?
The AW7260SP is a NEMA type flanged panel. Keep in mind the environmental rating of a finished assembly comes from the enclosure and its gasketing, not the interior back panel, so match the panel to a cabinet carrying the NEMA type your installation calls for.
5) How do I order the right B-Line panel by part number?
Order by MPN AW7260SP, the Eaton B-Line stainless flanged panel for 72 x 60 enclosures. The 72 and 60 in the number track the enclosure dimensions, and the SP suffix is the stainless panel version.
