B-LINE AW6060P – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size enclosure does the B-Line AW6060P mounting panel fit?
The AW6060P panel is sized for 60 x 60 inch Eaton B-Line enclosures. The panel itself measures 55.875 inches wide by 55.87 inches high, so it sits inside the 60 inch box with clearance for the mounting studs rather than filling the full opening. If your enclosure is a different footprint, this panel will not line up.
2) Is the B-Line AW6060P panel painted or bare steel?
Steel with a white powder coated finish, smooth brushed. The white face makes it easier to see wire markings and legends inside the enclosure than bare or galvanized stock. If you need a conductive, unpainted surface for a bonded ground reference, you would have to scrape the coating at the bonding point or specify a galvanized panel instead.
3) What is the exact part number for the 60 x 60 white flanged B-Line panel?
Order it as Eaton B-Line AW6060P. That is the large flanged NEMA panel in white powder paint for 60 x 60 inch enclosures. Give that number to your distributor and you will not get sent the galvanized or unflanged version.
4) Does the AW6060P panel carry a NEMA rating?
The panel is listed to NEMA. Keep in mind the enclosure itself is what establishes the environmental rating of the assembly; the back panel is the mounting surface for your components inside it.
