The panel itself measures 31 in height, 27 in width and 28.5 in length/depth as published, so it drops inside the enclosure body rather than matching the box dimensions exactly. If your enclosure is a different footprint, you need the panel cut for that size, not this one.

The rating on the AW3630-1PP is NEMA 1, which is indoor, general purpose protection against incidental contact and falling dirt. It is not a wet location or washdown rating. For outdoor or hosedown installs you need an enclosure rated 3R, 4 or 4X, and the enclosure rating is what governs, not the panel.

It's a medium perforated steel panel, not a solid plate. The perforation pattern gives you fixed hole locations to mount components and tie wraps without drilling and tapping the panel first, which is the reason most control shops choose it. If you want to lay out your own hole pattern or need full mounting surface, order a solid flat panel instead.
