The B270LHDG is the left hand version of the four hole single corner wing fitting. Handing matters on a corner wing, because the wing is bent to one side only, so the left hand part will not mirror into a right hand corner. If your corner turns the other way, order the right hand equivalent instead.

The finish on the B270LHDG is hot-dipped galvanized steel, which is the coating normally specified for exterior runs, rooftops, parking structures, and wet or damp interior areas. Plain electro-zinc fittings are the ones to keep indoors and dry; this one is built for the wetter locations.

Order it as B-Line B270LHDG. The B270 is the four hole single corner wing, LH designates left hand, and DG is the hot-dipped galvanized finish. Getting the LH and the DG suffixes right is the whole order, since the same base fitting exists in the opposite hand and in other coatings.

It braces a 90 degree corner between two pieces of strut, carrying the load across the joint instead of relying on the bolts in shear alone. Four bolt holes let you land two fasteners into each leg of strut. If you only need a flat plate across a straight splice rather than a turned corner, a flat splice plate is the piece to use; the wing is for the change in direction.
