1) Does this B-Line wireway come with knockouts for conduit entry?
No. The 4460 G NK is the NK (no knockouts) version, so every entry point has to be drilled or punched in the field. If you want factory knockouts to land EMT or rigid without punching, order a knockout version instead. The trade-off is that a blank body lets you put openings exactly where your conduit runs land.
2) Can I use this wireway outdoors or in a washdown area?
No. It's a NEMA 1 enclosure, which is general purpose indoor protection against incidental contact and falling dirt only. It has no gasketing and no rating against water, so keep it indoors and dry. Wet locations, outdoors, or washdown call for a NEMA 3R or 4 raceway.
3) What gauge steel is this wireway, and is it strong enough for a commercial install?
The body is 16 gauge steel, which is the standard commercial wall thickness for lay-in wireway of this size and holds its shape when you drill entries and hang it on strut. Finish is ANSI 61 gray, the usual gray that matches most panelboards and control gear.
4) Is the B-Line 4460 G NK wireway third party certified for an inspected job?
It's CSA Certified, which is what an inspector will look for on a raceway going into a commercial or institutional install in the US or Canada.
