The 66120-12FW is a NEMA 12 wireway with a seamless poured in-place gasket, so it is built to keep out dust, falling dirt, and dripping non-corrosive liquids. That covers indoor industrial areas with oil or coolant splash and general dust. It is not a NEMA 4 or 4X enclosure, so direct hose-down washdown or outdoor rain exposure calls for a rainproof/watertight wireway instead.

It is designed for wireway hanger support. Each 120 inch stick weighs 68.725 lb empty, so size your hangers and anchors for that plus conductor fill before you set spacing. For overhead runs, plan hanger points with the hinged cover in mind so it still has room to swing open for pulling and inspection.

It is certified to CSA C22.2, so it is acceptable for Canadian installations as well as US work. That matters on cross-border projects and for institutional specs that call out CSA certification on wiring troughs.

What ships is the 120 inch 6 x 6 trough body with its hinged, gasketed cover. Connectors, elbows, tees, end plates, and the wireway hangers used to support it are separate 12FW-series fittings and need to be ordered alongside the straight sections. Stick to 12FW fittings so the gasketing carries the NEMA 12 rating through every joint.

It is finished in ANSI 61 gray, the standard gray used on most industrial panelboards, control enclosures, and gutter, so a run will match existing gear in the same finish. That makes it straightforward to standardize across a facility when you are extending an existing wireway system.
