No. The 8872 G NK is a NEMA 1 screw cover wireway, which is general purpose indoor only. It is not raintight, so keep it out of wet or washdown areas and off exterior walls. For an outdoor run you need a NEMA 3R raintight trough instead.

No knockouts. The G NK designation means the body ships blank, so every conduit entry gets field drilled or punched where you want it. If you would rather have factory openings on the standard pattern, you need a knockout (K) version of the trough rather than this NK body.

The 8872 G NK is the straight 72 inch body and cover only. A finished run also needs end plates to close off the terminations, connectors or couplings where two sticks meet, and any elbows, tees, or crosses your routing calls for, all sized to the same 8 x 8 section. Mounting hardware is not included either, since the trough attaches through its own thru holes.

The cover is a screw cover, secured with plated screws along the flange. It lifts straight off once the screws are out, which keeps the whole 8 x 8 channel open for pulling wire, but you do need clearance in front of the trough and a screwdriver at every service visit. Where crews open a trough repeatedly, a hinged cover version is the easier choice.
