1) Will the B-Line 126-12LE9C elbow fit a 12 x 6 wireway run?
Yes. The 126-12LE9C is sized for lay-in wireway with a 12 in width and 6 in height, and it measures 9.44 in on the length/depth axis. If your trough is a different cross section (for example 4 x 4 or 6 x 6), you need the elbow built for that size instead.
2) What does "outside opening" mean on a 90 degree wireway elbow, and how do I know if that is the one I need?
On a 90 degree wireway elbow the cover opening is on either the outside or the inside of the turn. The 126-12LE9C is the outside opening version, so the removable cover faces the outer radius of the bend. Sight down your run: if the trough covers on both legs face away from the corner, the outside opening elbow keeps the cover line continuous so you can still lay conductors in. If the covers face into the corner, you want the inside opening elbow.
3) Is this wireway elbow rated for a dusty or drip environment?
It is built to NEMA 12, which covers indoor protection against falling dirt, circulating dust, lint and dripping non-corrosive liquids. That is the usual rating for plant floors and mechanical rooms. It is not a NEMA 3R or 4X part, so for outdoor, washdown, or corrosive locations use a wireway system rated for those conditions.
