1) Will the B-Line 33 E NK end plate fit a 3 x 3 wireway run?
Yes. The 33 E NK is sized for 3 by 3 inch wireway, with a 3 inch height and 3 inch width and a 3.06 inch depth across the plate body. It caps the open end of a straight section or fitting in that size. If your trough is 4 x 4 or 6 x 6, this closure is the wrong size and will not cover the opening.
2) What does the NK in B-Line 33 E NK mean, and when would I want the knockout version instead?
NK is no knockout, so the end plate is a solid steel closure with no pre-punched opening. Use it where the run simply terminates and you want the trough sealed. If you need to bring conduit or cable into the end of the wireway, you want an end plate with a knockout instead, or you will be field-punching this one.
3) Is this wireway end plate rated for outdoor or wet locations?
No. The 33 E NK is a NEMA 1 closure, which is indoor general purpose only, intended to keep personnel from contacting the enclosed conductors and to block falling dirt. It has no gasketing for rain, washdown, or dust. For an outdoor or damp run you need a NEMA 3R rated wireway end, not this one.
4) Will this end plate match the gray finish on the rest of my Eaton B-Line wireway?
The finish is ANSI 61 gray paint over steel, which is the standard gray used across the Eaton B-Line wireway line and on most electrical gear, so it matches adjacent straight sections and fittings in that same finish. If your existing trough is a different color or is galvanized rather than painted, expect a visible difference.
