1) Does this wireway end plate come with a knockout for running conduit out the end?
No. The 1010 E NK is the no-knockout version, a solid steel closure plate. If you need to bring conduit or cable out through the end of the run, you want a knockout style end plate instead, or you field-punch the opening yourself. As supplied there is no pre-formed hole.
2) Is a NEMA 1 wireway end plate okay for an outdoor or washdown area?
No. This end plate is NEMA Type 1, which is indoor, general purpose enclosure protection only, against incidental contact with the enclosed equipment and falling dirt. It is not rated for rain, sprays, washdown or dust-tight service. Outdoor or wet locations call for a NEMA 3R or 4 rated wireway system and matching end plate.
3) Is the Eaton B-Line 1010 E NK wireway end UL Listed?
It is UL Listed. That matters on inspected commercial and industrial jobs where the whole wireway assembly, trough plus fittings plus closures, has to be listed components to pass. No other rating is claimed for it beyond the UL listing and the Type 1 protection level.
4) What is a wireway end plate actually for, and do I need one at the end of every run?
A wireway end closes the open end of a square duct trough so conductors are enclosed and the run is finished. Any cut or terminated end of a 10 x 10 run that does not feed into a box, panel or another fitting needs one. The 1010 E NK is the plain solid version for a dead end; where the end feeds conduit out, use a knockout style end instead.

Order Eaton B-Line part 1010 E NK. The number reads directly: 10 x 10 duct size, E for end, NK for no knockout. That is the full manufacturer part number to quote on a purchase order.
6) What color is the B-Line 1010 wireway end plate, and will it match my existing wireway run?
It is finished in ANSI 61 gray paint, the standard gray used across Eaton B-Line square duct wireway and most industrial electrical enclosures. Butted against an existing ANSI 61 gray trough it will read as the same color. If your run is white, beige or a custom paint, it will not match.
7) How heavy is the 1010 E NK end plate, and is it steel or plastic?
