For a 3 inch Form 7 body, order the 2-1/2" to 3" cover: 870 SA in sheet aluminum or 870F in Feraloy iron. The 3-1/2" to 4" sizes use 970 SA or 970F instead. The two size brackets are not interchangeable, so match the trade size of the body you are covering.
2) Can I use this Crouse-Hinds Form 7 cover in a Class I hazardous area?
No. The Form 7 cover is rated for ordinary, non-hazardous locations only. For a classified area you need an explosionproof body and cover assembly, not this one.
