1) Will the PLK1 handle lock hasp fit an Eaton F-frame breaker?
Yes. The PLK1 is a padlockable handle lock hasp for Eaton Series C molded case breakers in the F-frame size. If the breaker you are locking out is a different frame (J, K, L and so on), this is not the right hasp.
2) Does this breaker lockout work on single-pole breakers or only multi-pole?
The PLK1 is specified for use with two-, three- and four-pole Series C breakers. For a single-pole device you need a different lockout accessory.
3) What does the PLK1 actually do on the breaker, and does a padlock come with it?
It mounts over the breaker handle and gives you a hasp you can run a padlock through, holding the handle in position for lockout/tagout on an Eaton Series C F-frame breaker. The padlock itself is not part of the PLK1, so order the padlock (or multi-lock scissor hasp) separately to suit your LOTO program.
4) I'm standardizing lockout hardware across a facility - what part number do I order for Eaton Series C F-frame breakers?
