The LKD4 is built for Eaton Series C molded case circuit breakers in the L, M and N frame sizes. If your breaker is a smaller frame in the Series C line, this is not the right lock for it.
2) Can I put a padlock on the LKD4 breaker handle lock for lockout/tagout?
No. The LKD4 is a non-padlockable handle lock, so it will not accept a LOTO padlock shackle. If your electrical safety program requires a lockable breaker handle for energy isolation, you need a padlockable handle lock instead of this one.
