1) What breaker frame size does the TA600LA terminal fit?
The TA600LA pressure terminal is for 600 ampere frame breakers only. It will not fit smaller or larger Eaton Series C frames, so match the terminal kit to the frame rating stamped on the breaker before ordering.
2) What wire sizes can I land in the TA600LA lug?
Each TA600LA terminal takes two conductors, 250 to 500 kcmil, and is rated for both copper and aluminum. That is a dual-barrel arrangement, so parallel feeders of 250, 300, 350, 400 or 500 kcmil land in one terminal per pole.
3) Is the TA600LA supplied with the breaker or ordered separately?
It is an optional Al/Cu pressure terminal, ordered as an accessory to an Eaton Series C molded case breaker rather than supplied as part of it. Order one per pole you intend to terminate.
4) How much room do I need in the gutter space for a TA600LA lug?
Each terminal measures 2.7 inches long, 1.9 inches wide and 1.8 inches high, and weighs about a quarter pound. Allow for that block plus the bending radius of 250 to 500 kcmil cable when you are checking wiring gutter clearance.
