Emtek 1275 Multi Point Lock Trim (Door Config #2) - Brass Plates, Concord Style (1.5" x 11"), Dummy Pair

Dummy means it doesn't operate anything. The 1275 Concord pair is a fixed set of plates and handles for the inactive leaf of a swinging patio door, or an active leaf where the locking is handled elsewhere. It isn't keyed and it isn't electronic, so there's no cylinder, no latch retraction, and no thumbturn action. If you need the trim to actually throw the multi point lock, a dummy pair is the wrong choice.

Door Config #2 puts the cylinder position above the handle with a 3-5/8 inch center-to-center between the cylinder and the handle hub. That spacing is what has to match your existing lock body. Measure from the center of the cylinder hole to the center of the handle hub on the door you have; if it isn't 3-5/8 inches with the cylinder on top, this is a different configuration and the plate holes won't line up.

Handing is required, right hand or left hand, and it isn't a field you can leave blank. Stand outside the door: if the hinges are on your right, it's right hand. Get this wrong on a patio door set and the plates come oriented for the opposite leaf. You also pick the lever style at the same time, and door thickness if you want it noted.

That's exactly what it's for. The 1275 is a trim refresh: new plates and handles over the multi point lock body you already have. Because it surface mounts, there's no new door prep, no routing, and no need to pull the lock out of the stile. The Concord plate measures 1-1/2 x 11 inches. That's a narrow escutcheon, which matters on a patio door with a slim stile: you need roughly an inch and a half of flat face on the stile for the plate to sit properly. The plates are surface mount, so they cover the existing lock face without extra machining.

Eight finishes: Oil Rubbed Bronze (US10B), Satin Nickel (US15), Pewter (US15A), Flat Black (US19), Polished Chrome (US26), Polished Brass Lifetime (US3), Unlacquered Brass (US3NL), and French Antique (US7). These are Emtek's brass collection finish codes, so a US15 patio trim reads the same as US15 brass levers and knobs elsewhere in the house. Unlacquered brass is the exception worth flagging: it's left bare to patina, so it will darken over time while a lacquered or plated finish stays put.

Config #2 is built around an American standard cylinder sitting above the handle. Note that the 1275 dummy pair itself takes no cylinder, since it isn't keyed and has no operating function. The American cylinder classification matters when you're specifying the keyed active leaf on the same opening, so both leaves read as a matched set.
