Trim only. The Emtek 1331 set gives you the plates, handles, and cylinder. The multi point mortise lock box is not included, so you need the lock body separately along with whatever the door manufacturer's gearbox requires.
2) What does Door Configuration #3 mean on Emtek multi point trim?
Configuration refers to where the cylinder sits relative to the handle and the spacing between them. The 1331 is Config #3: keyed with an American cylinder hub positioned ABOVE the handle, with 4-1/8 inch center-to-center between the cylinder and the lever hub. If the existing gearbox on your door puts the cylinder below the handle, or spaces it differently, this trim will not line up with the prepped holes.
3) Will the Emtek 1331 Tuscany trim work on an Andersen patio door?
Andersen is the referenced door manufacturer for the 1331 trim. It is built for swinging patio door multi point systems. Match the gearbox configuration first: the cylinder must sit above the handle at 4-1/8 inch center-to-center for the plates to land on the existing prep.
4) Do I have to specify handing when ordering the Emtek 1331?
Yes, handing is a required choice: right hand or left hand. Multi point trim is not reversible in the field on this set, so establish the hand from the outside of the door before ordering.
5) Can I key the Emtek 1331 to my existing Schlage or Kwikset keys?
The 1331 uses an American cylinder and is offered in two keyways: Schlage (standard) and Weiser WR5. Weiser WR5 is the keyway a Kwikset-family key typically rides on.
