1) Does the Emtek 1545 multi point trim include the mortise lock body?
No. The Emtek 1545 is trim only, a dummy pair: plates and handles. The multi point mortise lock box is not included, so on an operating door you supply the lock separately. Because it is a dummy set it does not latch or lock at all, which is what you want on the fixed leaf of a swinging patio door pair or on an inactive door that just needs matching pulls.

3) Will the Emtek 1545 line up with my existing multi point lock's handle and cylinder spacing?
The 1545 is built to Door Configuration #5, with 3-5/8 inch center-to-center between the handle and the cylinder hole, and the cylinder position below the handle for a Euro profile cylinder. Measure your existing plate from handle spindle center to cylinder center: if it is 3-5/8 inches with the keyway underneath, this plate matches. Different spacing means a different Emtek configuration number.
4) What do I have to specify when ordering the Emtek 1545 dummy trim?
Three choices. Finish: Flat Black Bronze (FB) or Medium Bronze (MB). Lever style: Medici (MD), Napoli (NA), Octagon (OCL) or Padua (PD). And handing, right hand (RH) or left hand (LH). Door thickness is an optional entry. Levers and handing are both required selections, not upgrades.
5) Why does a dummy trim set need handing?
Even with no working latch, the plate is drilled for a cylinder hole below the handle and the lever pitch is oriented, so a left hand set will not read correctly on a right hand door. Stand outside the door: if the hinges are on your left it is left hand. Order the handing that matches the active swing of the pair you are trimming.
6) What is the plate size and material on the Emtek Tuscany 1545?

Yes. The 1545 can be ordered with any Emtek Lost Wax Cast Bronze lever, meaning any Tuscany Bronze lever, so you can run the same lever style and finish on the active keyed door and the inactive dummy leaf. Keep the finish choice, Flat Black Bronze or Medium Bronze, consistent across both.
8) Is the Emtek 1545 keyed, and is it rated for commercial openings?
It is not keyed and has no electronics, which follows from the dummy function. Emtek classifies it as residential hardware, so for a commercial entry with traffic and code requirements you want a Grade 1 commercial lockset rather than cast bronze multi point trim.
9) My multi point door uses a Euro profile cylinder. Does this trim take one?
