No. The 1745 is trim only: plates and handles. The multi point mortise lock box is not included, so you order the gearbox separately or use the one already in the door. Yes, handing is required. You choose right hand or left hand at order. Even as a dummy set, the plate orientation and lever throw follow the door swing, so an incorrect call means the hardware sits backwards on the slab.
