What is different is the trim: the plate is 2 x 10-1/2 inches and the prep is a narrow 1-1/4 inch door prep with 3-3/8 inch center-to-center hole spacing, so the two plate screw holes need to land in that narrow pattern. Backset is adjustable, 2-3/8 or 2-3/4 inches.
2) Do I need to know the handing of my door for an Emtek STRETTO passage lockset?
Yes, handing is a required selection, right hand or left hand. Emtek calls out handing specifically for leversets, since a lever has to point toward the latch side.
