Metallics JPFMCV2211100 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Metallics JPFMCV2211100 Hangermate for overhead vertical loads or sideways pull?
It is the vertical version, meant for loads hanging straight down from the fastener, such as conduit, cable tray drops, or pipe suspended from a deck or structure above. Side loading or angled pull is a different Hangermate configuration.
2) Can I use the 1/4 x 1-5/8 Hangermate to hang conduit from a concrete deck?
That is exactly what it is built for. The JPFMCV2211100 is the concrete version, driven into the deck to give you a 1/4 inch threaded hanging point for conduit, strut, or pipe drops. For hanging off steel or wood framing you want the Hangermate variant made for that base material, not this one.
3) How many Hangermate JPFMCV2211100 fasteners come in a jar?
They ship 25 to a jar, which is how Metallics packages this item. For a large conduit run, count your drop spacing first so you know how many jars the job takes.
