A terminal strip lands each conductor on its own screw at the reader, so an installer can terminate in the field, re-terminate after a pull, and troubleshoot with a meter without cutting back a molded lead. Those three cover the interface variations across the family, so when you are matching an existing reader on a building, read the label for one of those numbers first; the suffix after it tells you the interface, termination and color.

Charcoal gray is the finish on the 5355AGK14. It is a single-finish part, so if the other readers in the building are a different color you are matching by adding trim or accepting the gray, not by ordering the same model in another shade.
