Houzer BG-4320 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Which Houzer sink does the BG-4320 bottom grid fit?
The BG-4320 Wirecraft bottom grid is cut to one bowl only: Houzer sink model CTG-3200. It is not a universal grid. If your bowl is any other Houzer model, or another brand entirely, this one will sit wrong or not drop in at all, so match the CTG-3200 model number stamped on your sink before ordering.
2) Will a bottom sink grid stop my stainless sink from getting scratched?
That is the main reason to use one. The BG-4320 holds pots, pans and cutlery off the bowl surface, so grit and metal edges never drag on the stainless finish, and it cushions glassware and china that would otherwise land hard. It also damps the drumming noise you get washing dishes directly in a stainless bowl.
3) I manage a building and want one grid part number across all my kitchens. Does the BG-4320 work for that?
Only if every kitchen has the Houzer CTG-3200 bowl. The BG-4320 is sized to that single sink model at 29-11/16 x 15-1/2 inches, so it is not a standardization part across mixed sink types. If your units have different bowls, you will need the matching Houzer grid for each sink model rather than stocking this one.
4) Is the BG-4320 sink grid stainless steel, and will it hold up to dish detergent and food acids?
The grid is stainless steel, which is why it stands up to constant water contact, food residue and household cleaning chemicals without rusting out the way a coated or plated grid eventually does. For rental and multi-family kitchens that means it survives tenant turnover rather than needing replacement with the sink.
