Houzer CAMPD-368 Camden Series Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet

Houzer CAMPD-368 Camden pull-down kitchen faucet appeals to the traditional style with contemporary sophistication. The Camden features a lightweight and ergonomic pull-down hand spray on a high-profile, yet gently curved spout design, which can handle large kitchenware. The hand spray features a removable and easy-to-clean AeroFlo aerator which provides an environment-friendly 1.75 GPM flow. Combine this with the versatility of a dual-function stream or wide-angle spray with smooth rubberized controls. This easy-to-grip, lightweight hand spray is connected to our UltraBraid nylon hoses, allowing the hand spray to pulls out 20+ inches for extra-long reach. Easily fill pots or cleaning buckets outside of your sink with the durability and flexibility of XtendHose technology. The Camden’s slender and stylish water control handle is designed to glide forward for ultra-smooth water control, yet precision-engineered with limited 15° rear action to prevent it from hitting the backsplash. Fitted with our CeraDox Ceramic disc cartridge. The entire body, spout and handle of the Camden is constructed of solid brass from start to finish in our ISO-certified Houzer factory in Israel. More than just a brand name, as a manufacturer we have over 70 years of experience in faucet craftsmanship. Houzer CAMPD-368-BN – Frequently Asked Questions

1) How far does the Camden CAMPD-368 spout reach out over the sink?
The spout centerline sits 8-9/16 inches out from the centerline of the neck, so on a standard single or double bowl it lands well inside the basin. Beyond that, the pull-down hand spray comes out 20-plus inches on the braided XtendHose, which is what lets you fill a stockpot or a mop bucket sitting on the counter next to the sink rather than in it.
2) Will the Camden faucet handle hit my backsplash or a window behind the sink?
No. The single lever on the Camden CAMPD-368 glides forward to control water, and the rearward travel is deliberately limited to 15 degrees so the handle does not swing back into a backsplash or a low window. That is the main reason to pick this one over a faucet with a conventional side or rear lever when the sink is tight against the wall.
3) Is the Houzer Camden CAMPD-368 ADA compliant for a commercial or multi-family kitchen?
Yes, the Camden CAMPD-368 is listed as ADA compliant, and it is ICC certified to meet or exceed US state and federal plumbing codes and low lead requirements. The single-lever design is what carries the ADA point, since it operates without grasping, pinching, or twisting the wrist.
4) What is the flow rate on the Camden CAMPD-368, and does it meet water conservation requirements?
1.75 GPM through the AeroFlo aerator on the spray head. That puts it under the 2.2 GPM federal kitchen faucet ceiling and satisfies the tighter 1.8 GPM limits some states and green building programs apply. The aerator is removable for cleaning, which matters in hard water buildings where mineral buildup kills flow.
5) Is the Houzer Camden a pull-down or a pull-out faucet?
It is a pull-down. The Camden CAMPD-368 has a high, curved gooseneck spout with the spray head docking vertically into the end of it, so you pull straight down into the bowl. A true pull-out has a low spout and the wand draws horizontally toward you. If you are washing tall stockpots or filling buckets, the pull-down arc is the one you want; if you have a window sill only a foot above the deck, a low-profile pull-out is the better fit.
6) What finishes does the Houzer Camden CAMPD-368 kitchen faucet come in?
Four: Polished Chrome (CAMPD-368-PC), Brushed Nickel (CAMPD-368-BN), Oil Rubbed Bronze (CAMPD-368-OB), and Brushed Brass (CAMPD-368-BB). For a property manager standardizing across units, brushed nickel and polished chrome are the two that match the widest range of existing sink strainers and cabinet pulls already in place.
7) Is the Camden CAMPD-368 solid brass or is it plastic underneath the finish?
Solid brass through the body, spout, and handle, manufactured in Houzer's ISO-certified plant in Israel. That is the difference that shows up in a rental or commercial kitchen five years in, where zinc-alloy and plastic-bodied faucets start weeping at the joints. The valve is a CeraDox ceramic disc cartridge rather than a rubber-washer stem.
8) Does the Camden CAMPD-368 spray head do more than one spray pattern?
Two. The wand switches between an aerated stream and a wide-angle spray using rubberized controls on the head itself, so you can flip patterns one-handed while holding a pan. The head is lightweight, which is what makes the 20-plus inch hose reach usable rather than a wrestling match.
9) Does the Houzer Camden faucet have a Prop 65 warning?
Yes, the Camden CAMPD-368 carries a California Proposition 65 warning. That is standard for brass plumbing fittings and does not conflict with its low lead compliance, which is covered under its ICC certification to US state and federal plumbing codes.
10) Where do I get the rough-in drawing and install sheet for the Houzer CAMPD-368?
Houzer publishes both a spec sheet and a set of installation instructions for the Camden CAMPD-368, and ZenSupply carries both as downloads on the product record. Pull the spec sheet before you cut or drill the deck, since that is where the hole size and deck thickness range are printed.
