1) How big is each bowl on the Houzer CND-3360 60/40 double bowl sink, and which side is the large one?
It is a 60/40 split with the large bowl on the left: 17 x 16 x 10 inches on the left, 12 x 16 x 10 inches on the right. Both bowls are the full 10 inches deep, so the small side still handles a stock pot or a sheet pan on the diagonal. If your run puts the dishwasher on the left and you want the big bowl nearer it, check the mirror-image layout instead.
2) Does this Houzer undermount sink work with a standard garbage disposal and basket strainer?
Yes. Both bowls have a 3-1/2 inch drain opening, which is the standard size for a US garbage disposal flange or a basket strainer. Two basket strainers (190-9180) ship with the sink, so if you put a disposal on one bowl you will have a spare strainer for the other. Drains sit at the rear of each bowl, which keeps the tailpieces back toward the wall and frees up cabinet space in front.
3) What comes in the box with the Houzer CND-3360, and what else do I need to buy to install it?
Shipped with the sink: two basket strainers (190-9180), two bottom grids sized to the bowls (BG-4800 and BG-4850), a sound-absorbing pad already applied, mounting hardware, a cutout template, and installation instructions. You still supply the silicone, the P-trap and tailpieces, the faucet, and the disposal if you are using one. A cutting board (CB-4100) is an optional add-on.
4) Is an undermount sink like this one OK under a laminate countertop, or do I need stone?
The CND-3360 is an undermount, which means it hangs below the counter with clips and silicone, and the exposed cutout edge takes the water. That is fine under quartz, granite, or solid surface. Standard particleboard-core laminate is not a suitable host for an undermount unless the fabricator supplies a sealed, undermount-rated edge. If your counter is laminate, look at a drop-in or topmount sink instead.
5) Is 18 gauge stainless thick enough for a busy kitchen, or should I look for 16 gauge?
18 gauge T-304 is the common specification for residential and light commercial kitchen sinks, and it is what this Savior series bowl is made from. T-304 is the chrome-nickel alloy that gives the rust and corrosion resistance. The included bottom grids keep pots off the floor of the bowl, which is where thinner steel usually shows wear. 16 gauge is heavier and quieter, but for a standard apartment or home kitchen 18 gauge with a sound pad is a normal spec.
6) Is this Houzer sink certified for a code inspection?

7) Does this sink include faucet holes, or do I drill the counter?
