1) Will the Houzer CS-1307 bar sink fit an 18 inch base cabinet?
Yes, 18 inches is the minimum base cabinet width for the CS-1307. The sink measures 12-3/8 x 14-13/16 x 6-1/4 inches overall, so it leaves room for the undermount rim and the clips on an 18 inch cabinet. Anything narrower and you won't have the cabinet stile clearance to set it.
2) What size drain opening does the Houzer CS-1307 have, and will a standard bar sink strainer fit?
The CS-1307 has a 3-1/2 inch drain opening, centered in the bowl. That is the standard kitchen and bar sink drain size, so a basket strainer or disposal flange sized for 3-1/2 inch works. The centered drain also means the tailpiece drops straight down the middle of the cabinet rather than to one side.
3) What is the difference between the Houzer CS-1307-1 and CS-1307-C?
Same sink, different package. The CS-1307-1 is the bowl on its own. The CS-1307-C ships with the basket strainer and the basin grid included. Both are the satin stainless finish. If you already have a strainer on hand or you're pairing the bowl with a disposal, the -1 is the one to order; if you want the bottom grid protecting the base of the bowl out of the box, take the -C.
4) Does the Houzer CS-1307 come with mounting clips and a cutout template, or do I need to buy them?
Mounting hardware and a template both ship with the CS-1307, along with installation instructions. You don't need to source clips separately. What is not in the box is the silicone or adhesive for bedding the rim to the underside of the counter, and the fabricator still has to cut and polish the countertop opening.
5) Is the Houzer CS-1307 sink ADA compliant for a wet bar or breakroom install?
The CS-1307 is listed ADA compliant, and its 6-1/4 inch bowl depth is what makes that possible, since a shallow bowl leaves knee clearance under the counter. Compliance still depends on how you set it: the counter height, the knee and toe clearance beneath, and insulating or shielding the drain and supply lines are all part of the install, not the sink. 6) What countertop cutout size do I need for the Houzer CS-1307?
Cut the opening to the bowl, not to the outside of the sink. The bowl measures 10-1/8 x 12-9/16 inches inside, while the sink is 12-3/8 x 14-13/16 inches across the rim, so the rim laps under the stone all the way around. Houzer supplies a template with the sink and publishes a spec sheet and undermount installation instructions, and the fabricator should be working from those, whether they set the opening flush, positive, or negative reveal.
