Houzer VISPD-869 Vision Hidden Pull Down Kitchen Faucet with CeraDox Technology

Houzer VISPD-869 Vision hidden pull down kitchen faucet with a concealed pulldown hand spray combines aesthetic beauty, versatility and 70 years of faucet craftsmanship into a patented, uniquely designed work of art. Elegantly crafted from solid brass, the concealed pulldown hand spray resides within the spout, leaving the gracefully curved design of the faucet seamless, superior to conventional pulldown faucets. Fitted with a removable and easy-to-clean AeroFlo aerator, the Vision provides a 1.75 GPM flow, combined with the versatility of a dual function water flow: stream or wide-angle spray. This ergonomic hand spray constructed of solid brass, is connected to our UltraBraid hybrid stainless steel-nylon hoses, allowing the hand spray to pulls out 20+ inches for extra-long reach. Easily fill pots or cleaning buckets outside of your sink with the durability and flexibility of XtendHose technology. Houzer’s proprietary quick connect interlock system and oversized locknut provide easy installation and durability to last for the lifetime of the faucet. The Vision’s gracefully slim water control handle is designed to glide forward for accurate water control, yet precision engineered with limited 15° rear action to prevent it from hitting the backsplash. Fitted with Houzer’s CeraDox Ceramic disc cartridge guarantees a lifetime of ultra-smooth and Leakproof operation. The Vision hidden pulldown kitchen faucet is constructed of solid brass with our HydroMold brass casting process created from start to finish in our ISO certified Houzer factory in Israel. More than just a brand name, as a manufacturer we have over 70 years of experience in faucet craftsmanship. This gives Houzer the confidence to stand by our Limited Lifetime Warranty on all our faucets. All Houzer faucets are ICC certified to meet or exceed US State and Federal plumbing codes and low lead safety standards.

Houzer VISPD-869-BN – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Is the Houzer Vision VISPD-869 kitchen faucet ADA compliant for a multi-family or institutional job?
Yes, the Vision VISPD-869 is ADA compliant, and it is ICC certified to meet or exceed US state and federal plumbing codes along with low lead safety standards. For property managers and institutional buyers standardizing across units, that pairing covers the two things a plan reviewer usually asks about a kitchen faucet. A Prop 65 notice applies to the product.
2) What is a hidden pull down faucet and how is it different from a regular pull down sprayer?
On a conventional pull down, the sprayer head is the visible end of the spout and you can see the seam and the docking collar. The Houzer Vision VISPD-869 hides the hand spray inside the spout, so the curve of the faucet reads as one unbroken piece until you pull the spray out. Functionally you still get the same thing: a hose spray that extends more than 20 inches for filling pots or buckets set outside the sink, with a dual function head that switches between stream and wide angle spray. Choose it over a standard pull down when the look of the faucet matters as much as the function, which is usually a spec-driven or design-led install rather than a straight utility replacement.
3) What flow rate does the Houzer VISPD-869 faucet deliver, and will it meet a low flow requirement?
The Vision VISPD-869 runs 1.75 GPM through a removable AeroFlo aerator. That is under the 2.2 GPM federal maximum for kitchen faucets but above the 1.8 GPM ceiling some jurisdictions and green building programs enforce, so check your local requirement if you are specifying for a job with a water conservation mandate. The aerator comes out for cleaning, which matters on buildings with hard water or debris in the lines.
4) Is the Houzer VISPD-869 solid brass or a zinc body with plating?
Solid brass, body and hand spray both, cast by Houzer's HydroMold process in their ISO certified factory in Israel. That matters on a rental or commercial install, where zinc bodies are the usual failure point at the threads and the spout joint. The pull down hose is a hybrid stainless steel and nylon braid rather than plain vinyl.
5) How does the Houzer VISPD-869 mount, and can one person install it under a sink?
It uses Houzer's quick connect interlock system with an oversized locknut, which is the arrangement meant to be tightened from below without a second person holding the faucet up top. Houzer publishes a full installation instruction sheet and a spec sheet for the VISPD-869, and both are worth pulling before you cut in, since the spec sheet carries the deck hole layout you will need. Install location is kitchen deck mount.
6) What kind of cartridge is in the Houzer Vision faucet, and how hard is it to service?
A ceramic disc cartridge, Houzer's CeraDox. Ceramic disc is the type maintenance crews want, since it does not rely on rubber washers that harden and weep the way compression valves do. The single handle controls both temperature and volume off that one cartridge, so there is one wear part to know rather than two stem assemblies.
7) Can I use the Houzer Vision pull down faucet to fill a bucket on the floor or a pot on the counter?
Yes. The hand spray pulls out more than 20 inches on Houzer's XtendHose braided hose, which is enough reach to fill a mop bucket set on the counter beside the sink or a stockpot that will not fit under the spout. The head switches between an aerated stream and a wide angle spray, so the same pull works for rinsing down the basin.
