The Metallics JATEKW600ZP is a 1/4-14 by 6 inch I-lag screw with a sharp point and a zinc plated steel finish. It ships 100 pieces to a jar, so one jar covers a run of hanger or strut anchoring without re-ordering mid-job.

At 6 inches of overall length, this I-lag has enough reach to pass through finish layers and still take a meaningful bite in wood framing behind them. Thread diameter is 1/4 inch with a 14 thread pitch, the coarse pattern used for driving into wood rather than machine threads. Depth of embedment is up to you: subtract your total finish thickness from the 6 inches to confirm you still have the penetration your hanger detail calls for.

Zinc plated steel is a dry, indoor-rated finish. It handles normal interior humidity fine, but it is not a marine or sustained-wet coating.
