Thomas & Betts DPLG-2 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Thomas & Betts DPLG-2 plug metallic or non-metallic?
The DPLG-2 is a non-metallic fitting, finished in silver. Non-metallic means it carries no bonding path of its own, so grounding and bonding on the raceway has to be handled by the conductors or the metallic components of the run, not by this piece.
2) Can I buy a single Thomas & Betts DPLG-2, or do I have to take a full box?
Sold each, with an order multiple of 1, so one piece is a valid order. The manufacturer's inner pack is 1 and the outer carton holds 30, which is what you would take for a larger job or to stock a truck.
3) What is the part number to order a Thomas & Betts non-metallic plug, and is there more than one version?
DPLG-2 is the manufacturer part number, and it is the only model in that designation, so there is no size, finish, or handing choice to specify when you order. Quote it as Thomas & Betts DPLG-2.
