Both are the same 6 terminal ring type single position cabinet. The UCSS3436-O ships with test switch provision only, meaning the space and mounting are there but you supply and install the test switch. The UCSSP3436-O comes with the test switch already installed. If your utility specifies a particular test switch brand or model, order the provision version and fit their switch.
2) What size wire can I land in this Milbank meter socket?
The mechanical terminals take 12 to 10 AWG on both the line side and the load side. Those are CT secondary conductors, not service conductors. If you are pulling anything larger than 10 AWG into it, the terminals will not accept it.
3) Can this meter socket be mounted outdoors?
