That is exactly what it is built for. The U3358-O-KK is a 200 continuous amp, single phase, 4 terminal ringless meter socket on a direct bury pedestal, with underground cable entry and one meter position. Line and load lugs both take 6 AWG through 350 kcmil, so typical 4/0 aluminum or 2/0 copper 200A service conductors land without adapters. Note there is no main breaker in it, so the disconnect has to come from elsewhere in the installation.
2) Does this Milbank pedestal meter socket include a main breaker or disconnect?
No. The U3358-O-KK is a meter socket only, with zero main breakers and no receptacles. It meters the service and nothing else. If you need overcurrent protection or a service disconnect at the pedestal, you are looking at the wrong unit, you want a metered pedestal with an integral breaker section instead.
3) Is this Milbank socket ringless, and will my utility accept that?
