All three ports are female threaded (FIPT), listed as F x F x F. That means you thread pipe or nipples in with tape or dope, not solvent cement. If your run is being glued together with socket fittings, this is the wrong tee for it and you want a socket (slip) Sch 40 tee instead.
2) Can I use a PVC Schedule 40 threaded tee on a hot water line?
No. Maximum service temperature is 140 degrees F, which rules out domestic hot water distribution and any heating loop. PVC Sch 40 is a cold water product: irrigation, pool and spa, potable cold water, and chilled water.
3) Is this PVC tee approved for potable drinking water?
