1) Will a Nibco 4811 sanitary tee connect to Schedule 40 PVC DWV pipe without threading or a gasket?
The 4811 sanitary tee is solvent weld on all three openings, hub x hub x hub, sized for Schedule 40 PVC DWV pipe. The pipe slips into the hub socket and you cement it with PVC primer and solvent cement. No threads, no gaskets, no clamps. That means the branch and the run must both be plain-end PVC pipe; if you are tying into cast iron or ABS you need a transition coupling ahead of the tee, not this fitting.

9) Will the 4811 PVC tee corrode or rust in a slab or a wet crawlspace?
PVC will not rust, scale, pit or corrode, which is why the 4811 gets buried in slabs, run through crawlspaces and used on chemical-bearing drain lines that would eat cast iron. It is white Schedule 40 PVC throughout. For a property manager replacing a section of failing cast iron stack, that is the practical difference: the plastic run does not thin out from the inside over twenty years.
10) Can I use the 4811 sanitary tee as a vent connection above the fixture?
Yes, it is rated for the full drain, waste and vent range, so it works as a vent tee on the dry side as well as a drainage fitting below the flood rim. Same solvent weld hub connections either way. On a wet vent or a stack vent the sweep direction is less critical than it is on the drainage side, but keeping it flow-oriented costs nothing and keeps the install consistent if an inspector walks the stack.
