1) What wire gauge does the Sta-Kon C484 ring terminal crimp onto?
The C484 is sized for 12-10 AWG conductors. Anything thinner than 12 AWG will not hold a reliable crimp in this barrel, and 8 AWG won't enter it, so you need a different terminal size for those runs.
2) Will the Sta-Kon C484 terminal fit a No. 6 screw stud?

No. The barrel is copper, so it's for copper conductors only. Aluminum wire needs a lug rated AL or AL/CU with the appropriate inhibitor compound.
